TALOS was founded in 2022 in Munich with the goal of making satellite-based IoT accessible and practical for real-world use. Building on years of research experience from the ICARUS initiative of the Max Planck Society, the team set out to design ultra-light tags and a dedicated satellite system capable of capturing data even from the most remote designs.
Today, TALOS combines scientific heritage with commercial innovations – turning movement into foresight and connecting life on Earth with intelligence from space.
